Building Green Professionals
IDEAS is helping to Build Green Professionals through Workforce Development! Recently in early 2011, IDEAS partnered with CleanEdison to promote sustainability and green building practices to others by:
“offering vocational training and certifications programs in the green industry to build the green workforce needed to transition to a clean energy economy.”
We offer courses in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certification, Energy Auditing, Solar Installation, Wind Engineer and Renewable Energy Technicians. CleanEdison has also developed numerous customized training programs specific to a business or organization’s needs.

I was reading through the articles and was a very happy that CleanEdison (NYC) was mentioned. They have variety of licensing and certification classes as well as different programs that give their students great idea how the industry works,,,
